Navigator Supporters

About Us

Navigator Supporters is a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of adults with disabilities in a day program located in Phoenix, Arizona. The Navigator participants are adults who have a variety of developmental and physical disabilities including autism, cognitive impairment, cerebral palsy and more. These conditions affect their ability to participate in activities of daily living. Although they are non-verbal, have short attention spans, and require constant supervision, they enjoy music, shopping, horseback riding, picnics, games and watching movies.

Funds raised are used to provide enrichment activities and special guests to the Navigator Day Program.

- Music therapy sessions provide opportunities to participate in activities that lead to growth in cognitive and motor development.

- Art sessions support self-esteem and personal growth, enhance social skills and lower stress levels.

- The participants really got “into the groove” with a Hip Hop instructor. Partner dancing and group dancing reinforced socialization and motor skills.

- Weekly Yoga classes have increased flexibility and body awareness.
